Set on the hill “Am Frankenstein” near Bad Salzungen, the Panorama-Hotel looks out over the Werra valley towards Meiningen with the Dolmar (739 m). To the left lies the Thuringian Forest with the Großer Inselsberg (916 m); to the right, beyond the Werra and the lakes, the Pleß in the Vorderrhön (644 m), with the villages of Barchfeld and Immelborn below. Our four separate restaurant areas and the sun terrace host events of every size, and thanks to dividable room concepts up to three private celebrations can take place at the same time. From the reception to breakfast the next morning, everything stays in one place.

From November onwards our rooms are set for the Christmas season: an open fireplace, a festive menu and a private hall for your team — with the valley in view through the panorama windows. Dates for December book out early; a request now secures your preferred evening.
Pitches with a panoramic view
In addition we offer up to 50 campervan pitches with a breathtaking view of the Thuringian Forest — in a quiet setting surrounded by nature. Tents are no problem either, and refilling water is of course possible. You are also welcome to enjoy breakfast at our hotel.
